Trump Removed 860 Obama Regulations
According to Office of Management and Budget Director Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s White House administration eliminated almost 860 Obama federal regulations.
He said that the reason for this reduction in regulations is due to Trump administration’s overall deregulatory agenda.
Trump’s two for one policy for federal regulation- which means revoking two regulations for every one new implemented regulation now is nearly 16-to-1, said Mulvaney.
Mick Mulvaney stated: “Speaking to the slow accretion, that slow cancer that can come from regulatory burdens that we put on our people. During the last six months here, the Obama Administration put on over six billion dollars in new regulatory burden,” adding, “We had zero.”
There is more good news yet to come. Mulvaney informed that there is a new economic strategy for America named “MAGAnomics,” which will challenge “tax reform, the regulatory accountability project (previously called the unified agenda), energy dominance, welfare reform, infrastructure, trade policies, trade, and spending restraint” and is predicted to raise the economic growth rate up to 3%.
As Mulvaney said, Trump administration’s strategy is to carry on with reducing Americans’ regulatory burden in the future to stimulate economic growth.
